As an executive coach, Chris brings an open and down-to-earth approach and pragmatic strategies to collaborative, achievement-oriented leadership work. Clients can count on him to bring keen insight, innovative ideas, empathy, and humor to their work together.
A Certified Coach with the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and the Center for Executive Coaching, Chris embarked on his coaching journey in the early 1990s, leading a pioneering center for coaching and training for General Electric and the U.S. Department of Labor. Since then, he has collaborated with c-suite leaders and teams in corporate, nonprofit, public sector organizations and across cultures in North America, Europe, and Asia.
Chris has consistently focused on collaborating with organizations dedicated to a mission that reaches beyond just financial goals, whether they be in the for-profit, NFP, public sector, or public/private spheres. He believes that exceptional executives excel by bringing out the best in others.
Prior to establishing his coaching and consulting practice in 2003, Chris was instrumental in developing customized leadership programs for Fortune 100 clients at Harvard Business School Executive Education. He has served clients at major consultancies, leading initiatives in change management, service innovation, and strategy development for major corporations and nonprofits at CSC Index (now DXC Technology) and Hewitt Associates (now AON).
A strong believer in succeeding through teamwork and collaboration, Chris was Co-Captain and All-American, All-Ivy on the Harvard Varsity Lacrosse team. His lifelong love of music flourished as a jazz DJ on Harvard Radio, WHRB.
Outside of work, Chris enjoys yoga, coaching youth sports, playing string bass, experiencing live music, and international travel. A New York City native, Chris resides in the Boston area with his wife and teenage twins.
Did you know? In the 1980’s, Chris was detained by East German border guards while traveling in East Berlin.
