Michael is a seasoned executive coach with 25 years of experience in leadership coaching and assessment, facilitation, and organizational consulting.
His professional experience includes entrepreneurial and family business roles where he managed two food products companies before seeking his psychology degree. Michael then served as VP of Sales & Marketing for a startup software company in the late 1990s and as Senior Consultant for a management consulting firm.
Michael’s coaching portfolio includes multinational corporations, family businesses, and middle-market firms. His coaching supports C-suite leaders in effectively managing complexity and stress, enabling them to take their game to the next level. Clients comment that his deep knowledge and incisive questions, leavened with humor, optimism, and directness, help them evolve their leadership capabilities and drive positive change within their organizations.
His recent focus involves transformational change modalities, including Vertical Leadership Development, Internal Family Systems Coaching, and leveraging mindfulness practices to accelerate emotional intelligence and growth.
Additionally, Michael has served as faculty and Master Coach in the Executive Coaching Graduate Certificate Program at William James College in Boston and is a member of the Society of Consulting Psychology. He also taught in the Core Faculty at the Family Firm Institute and earned the coveted Fellow designation in 2018.
He is an avid tennis player and leads a funk/dance band. He lives with his wife and two sons in the Boston area..
