Renée Cooper
Executive Coach
Executive Coach
Whether teaching a leadership workshop, coaching an executive client, or facilitating a senior team, Renée brings a warm, direct, and insightful style to her work. With 20 years as a coach and leadership consultant, she has deep experience in executive coaching, action learning teams, and workshop design and delivery. And because she’s been a line manager herself, she knows the importance of building leadership skills that are practical, relevant, and effective.
Renée has worked with c-suite executives and senior teams at some of America’s leading corporations. She also has served nonprofit organizations such as Fenway Health and Boston Public Schools.
In addition, Renée coaches executive participants in Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program. Her pro bono work includes leadership coaching with The Gratitude Network, a not-for-profit that supports social impact entrepreneurs in scaling their businesses.
From 2002-08, Renée served as an adjunct coach with the Center for Authentic Leadership. From 1996-2000, Renée led the leadership practice at a boutique management training and consulting firm. Previously, she held senior line management and human resource positions for a Fortune 250 industrial manufacturer and spent two years as an investment banking professional. She completed her coaching certification with the College of Executive Coaching.
Originally from Maine, Renée splits her time between Boston and the New Hampshire seacoast. Together with her partner Dave, she enjoys spending time with their 5 grown sons and their families, running on the beach, and getting lost in a good historical novel.
Did you know? Renée has run the Boston Marathon twice: the first time to prove to herself that she could, and the second to prove that it wasn’t a fluke.
